James Darrell Strain Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Darrell Strain (Alton, Missouri), who passed away on November 28, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Strain and Viola Strain; his former wife Esther L. Garrett; his brother Dr. Phillip Strain; his granddaughter Alexandria Bandy; and his siblings-in-law, Norman Mills, Donna Strain, Janet Minich, Carl Watson, Rusell Kallak and Norma Kallak.
He is survived by: his daughter Debra Cox of Harrison; his grandson Michael Bandy of West; his wife Taylor of Alton, MO.; his granddaughters, Mckenzie and Maggie Cox of Harrison; his sister Linda Caruthers (Mack) of Joplin, MO.; and his siblings-in-law, Dean Minich and Wanda Watson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Clary Funeral Home (102 Vine St, Alton, MO 65606). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the New Bailey Church.
