She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Millard Wood and Marie Wood (Harrison); her siblings, Jessie McKee, Arlyn Wood, Jessie "Junior" Wood, Jr., Betty Rousseaux and Lula "Mae" Clayton; and her granddaughter Faith Nettles.
She is survived by: her husband James Hayes of Alton, MO; her sister Mildred Bailey of Columbus, MS; and her children, Antonio Nettles (Martina) of Alton, MO, Luke Nettles, Isaac DeSalvo (Christina) of Rogersville, MO, Ezekiel Dahlke (Alyssa) of Derby, KS, Angel Halferty (Shawn) of Winona, MO and Delilah Davis (Greg) of Farmington, MO. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
