It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dennis Arnold Pier of Alton, Missouri, born in Jackson, Michigan, who passed away on March 29, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Pier and Vivian Pier (Rice); his sisters, Deborah Pier, Phyllis Pier and Victoria Emmel; and his niece Dianna Fisher.

He is survived by: his children, Dennis Pier (Cynthia), Denise Pier, Carl Pier (Tamara) and Deborah Pier; his grandchildren, Anthony, Tyler, Gavin, Grant, Nicole, Kaitlyn, Conner and Madeline; and his siblings, Patricia Miller (Raymond), Nancy Slack, Valoree Iovannone (David) and Henry Pier (Johnalee).
