He is survived by: his children, Sheryl Buckley and Dorian Sather; his sister Patricia Hawkins of Chicago; and his half-brothers, Thomas Hodge of North Carolina and Phillip White of Oregon. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
