He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Gene Blackman and Judy Ann Jewell Blackman; his grandparents, Howard Jewell and Lucille McLeskey Jewell; and his uncle Mac Jewell.

He is survived by: his wife Cindy Lee Blackman; his daughter Stacy Renee; his grandchildren, Kobe, Logan and Hailey; and his uncle Larry Jewell (Anita). He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
