He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar W. Hecht and Ruby Starzinger Hecht; and his daughter Amanda Hecht. He is survived by: his son Andrew Hecht (Lindsey); his grandchildren, Sophia, William, Alexandria and Henry of Altenburg; his daughter Tara Galkowski (Pat); his grandchildren, Maddie and Jackson of Wentzville; his daughter Elise Moore (Chris); his grandson Miles of Wildwood, Missouri; and also, Sharon McMillan (Marvin) of Friedheim, Dianne Meyr (H. W.) of Cape Girardeau and Beverly Koenig (Gene) of Perryville.
Memorial may take the form of contributions to Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund.
