He was predeceased by: his parents, George F. Eager and Blanche Campbell Eager; his former wife Carol Sue Strader; his son Kevin Eager; his siblings, George Eager, Earnest Eager, Betty Heimsoth, Donna Stoneking and Joyce Eager; and his great grandchild Damien Owen.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Struemph Duffey; his children, Steven Eager of Fayetteville, AR and Karen Eager of Lawrence, KS; his stepchildren, Kim Owen (Bill) of Alma, Dana Sleeper (Randy) of Blackburn and Patrick Duffey (Tess) of Maplewood; his grandchildren, Billy Owen (Alyisa), Ben Owen, Anna Raasch (Charlie) and Truman Sleeper (Katie); his great grandchildren, Liam Owen and Scottie Raasch; and his siblings, Ola Hoover, John Eager, Rev. James Eager, Marjorie Maxwell, Richard Eager and Michael Eager. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
