He was predeceased by: his parents, Elza "Poke" and Lorene Scobee Colwell; and his granddaughter Meghan Brewer. He is survived by: his spouse Cindy Hoyt; his daughters, Tracy Colwell (Ted Burger) of Elizabeth City, NC, Danita Brewer (Fernandina) and Jeri Lynne Baker of Alexandria, MO; his stepson Clint Hoyt of Keokuk; and his brothers, Dan Colwell (Cookie) of Alexandria and Randy Colwell (Barb) of Alexandria. He is also survived by six grandchildren, many great-grandchildren.
