With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Gates of Alexandria, Missouri, who passed away on November 17, 2020 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Joyce Hamelton Gates; and his daughter Sandra Burgess. He is survived by: his father Ronald "Duck" Gates (Diana) of Alexandria; his sisters, Lora Trone of Kahoka, Michelle Bennett and Ashley Arthur of Keokuk; and his stepsiblings, Michelle Lee and Jamie Lee of Keokuk. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Social distancing requirement will be in place at the graveside service and attendees will be limited according to those requirements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
