With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Joe Evans Jr. of Aldrich, Missouri, born in El Dorado Springs, Missouri, who passed away on March 8, 2021 at the age of 46. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Billy Dean, Zella Lee Sawyer (Simrell) and Ruth Evans (Havens). He is survived by: his wife Carla Rae McDougal; his daughter Mekenzie Rae Evans of Aldrich, Missouri; his parents, Jerry Evans and Kallie Hopkins of Ozark, Missouri; his siblings, Jennifer Rose (Richard) of Republic, Missouri and Joshua Evans; his stepmother Denise Evans; his uncles, Charles Evans of Liberal and Jerry Sawyer; and his great-uncle Junior Sawyer (Donnis) of Stockton, Missouri. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Due to Covid-19 concerns and CDC recommendations, the family requests that those attending the services please observe social distancing and also wear masks.
The family is establishing a college fund for his daughter, Mekenzie, for those wishing to make memorial donations in lieu of flowers.
