With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Russell Wayne Gillespie of Albany, Missouri, who passed away on October 31, 2020 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Gillespie; his wife Vonda Mason Gillespie; his mother Grace Wood Gillespie (Wood) of Albany; and his siblings, Leo Gillespie of Wichita, KS, Marjorie Silkett Wallace (Alton "Bud") of St. Joseph and Ruby Irene Harris (Albert Donald "Don") of Albany.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Breen (Herb) of Davenport, FL, Dean Gillespie (Karen) of Albany and Linda Beatty (Alan) of Kansas City, MO; his grandchildren, Erin Breen (Marcella) of Cambria, CA, Ashley Young, Macyn Clark (Mike), Collins Beatty and Hope Beatty of Kansas City, MO; and his stepgrandchildren, Glenn Hamilton (Amanda) of Albany, Jared Hamilton (Emily) of Agency, MO and Grant Hamilton of Wentzville, MO. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
The family would like to request masks be worn and social distancing be observed.
