It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maurice L. Guess (Albany, Missouri), who passed away on June 21, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Guess and Doris Guess (Madden); his daughters, Marian and Marcia; his siblings, Forrest, Max, Larry, Wendell and Joyce Newman; and his great grandchild Silas Smith.
He is survived by: his spouse Vernell Fancher (Nell); his children, David Guess (Gayle) and Denise Hughes of Clinton, MO; his grandchildren, Andi Houseworth (Paul) of Apex, NC, Alyssa Smith (Bobby), Megan Forster (Jordan) of Lee, Lindsey Haldiman (Tom) of Lee and Derick Hughes of Clinton, MO; and his brothers, Vince Guess (Sandy) of Phoenix, AZ, Bill Guess of Phoenix, AZ, Glee Guess (Donna) of Lee and Jim Guess. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
