She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Isaac R. Pierce and Stella Pierce (Folgate); her brothers, Lester Eldon Pierce and Leland Dale Pierce; her former husband Stanley Wells; and her husband Melvin R. Mathews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (805 US Hwy 136, Albany, MO 64402).
