He was predeceased by: his parents, Obid L. Barnes and Marvel Barnes (Harriott); and his sister Helen Brinker (Barnes). He is survived by: his wife Glenda Joan Groth; his children, Beth Ellis (Harold) of Maysville, MO, Kenneth Barnes (Alicia) of Albany, MO and Daniel Barnes (Chrissy); his mother-in-law Florence Groth of Sac City, IA; his siblings-in-law, Bill Groth of Santa Fee, NM and Jean Rooney of Rosalie, NE; and his grandchildren, Jeremy Ellis (Rebecca), Jennifer Meek (Shawn), Joanna Stretch (Jeff), Justin Ellis (Brandi), Megan Scheib (Michael), Hailey Barnes, Christopher Barnes (Baylee), Ryan Barnes (Monica), Kyle Barnes (Elaine) and Tyler Barnes (Gabby). He is also survived by 18 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great Great Grandchild; Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
