It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Douglas Anderson of Albany, Missouri, who passed away on December 6, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid adieu to John Douglas' earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration John Douglas has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Anderson and Edyth Lorraine Anderson (Buck); and his sister Deborah Munoz. He is survived by: his wife Antonia Garcia; his stepchildren, Natalie (Mark McIntyre) of San Diego, CA, Austin (Rose Gaines) of Aurora, CO and Peter Gaines of Aurora, CO; and his sister Pamela Anderson of San Diego, CA.. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Ande's Whistle Stop (108 N Hundley St, Albany, MO 64402).
