He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett "Happy" Cherry and Lillian Cherry (Owens); his former wife Carolyn Quinley; and his sister Barbara. He is survived by: his wife Edna; his children, Mark Cherry (Wendy) and Valerie Swisher (Allen); and his stepchildren, Kelly Wyatt (Lance) and John Wyatt (Carla). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his memory to the Mosaic Care-Hospice or the Albany First Baptist Church in care of Roberson-Polley Chapel, 403 N. Hundley, Albany, MO 64402.
