She was predeceased by: her parents, Orley McDaniel and Cordia Mae McDaniel (Sutton); her husband Maurice "Chub" Christie; her son Ronald; and her siblings, Lela McDaniel, Leona Flint, Dola Ward, Keith, Glenn and Earl McDaniel.
She is survived by: her children, Pat Stanton (Dannie) of New Hampton, MO, Rick Christie (Erica) of Wamego, KS and Renee Slayman (Mike) of Marshall, MO; and her daughter-in-law Rae Christie of Haslet, TX. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
