We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2024, at the age of 81, Carolyn Sue Messner (Albany, Missouri), born in Stanberry, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Gene and Rosella Maxine Phillips (Duley); her husband Leon; her son Carl; her great grandchild Lyla Rusick; and her brothers, Daryl, Doyle and Dale Phillips.
She is survived by: her children, Norman Messner (Debbie) of Edwardsville, KS, Janice Rusick (Rich) of Highland, UT and Jackie Jameson (Matt) of Cameron, MO; her daughter-in-law Kerri Messner of Albany, MO; her grandchildren, Kourtne (Matthew), Jake (Courtney), Kyle (Sarah), Bailey (Aaron), Blayre (Andrew), Garrett (Meg), Porter, Tate, Brant, Kayce, Brenner and Ella; her sisters-in-law, Lorraine Phillips of Tooele, UT, Donna Thomas of Weslaco, TX and Peggy Messner of Kansas City, MO; and her aunt Mary Lois Brooke of Jefferson City, MO. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
