He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Ward (Alvy) and Delia Ward (Hicks); and his siblings, Nadine, Mae, Ruby, Sara, Arty, Frances, Buck and Jim.
He is survived by: his brothers, Alfred and Willie; his wife Suzanne Hamilton; his daughter Trish; his granddaughters, Kami and Kaci; and his great grandchild Brinton. He is also survived by one great grandchild on the way and many friends.
