She was loved and cherished by many people including: her adoptive parents, Fred Paxson and Maude Paxson (Cheatham); her husband Billy Batson; her parents, Maude Paxson and Fred Paxson; her former husbands, Bill Batson and J. D. Marsh; her sons, Donnie and Bud Batson; her siblings, Shirley Spiegel (Jim) of Arizona, Mae Killingsworth (Glen) of Arizona, JoAnn Tulley of Nebraska, Billy Paul Barnes (Alna) of Minnesota and John Sexton of Washington; her children, Jerry Batson (Wanda) of Gallatin, Linda Whitaker and Bobby Batson (Cindy); her daughter-in-law Linda Batson of Albany; her children, Cathy Asbury (George) of Boonville, Debbie Sanger (Bob) of St. Joseph and Terry Marsh (Rachel) of Savannah; and also Emogene of Albany. She was also cherished by several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Family suggests social distancing and/or wearing of masks.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (Because of Aleene's love of children) in care of the Roberson-Polley Chapel, 403 N. Hundley, Albany, MO 64402.
