He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Ethel "Maggard" Mills; his grandparents, Frank and Maggie "Willoughby" Maggard; his wife Dora Johnson; his children, Brenda McCoy (William) of Neck City, MO, Dwayne Maggard (Traci) of Purcell, MO, Jerry Johnson of Lexington, IN, Sheila Maggard of Lamar, MO and Lisa Cusick of Joplin, MO; his siblings, Frank Mills of La Russell, MO, Mary "Mills" Vaughn of Carthage, Carolyn "Mills" Carhan of Carthage and Donna "Mills" Summers of Sarcoxie, MO; his children, Randy Maggard, Norma and Linda Maggard; his granddaughter Stephanie McCoy; and his sister Shirley "Mills" Pummell. He was also cherished by 21 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.
