He is survived by: his wife Martha Wakely; and his children, Steve, Rick, John Wakely (Hareena), Elaine Stull (James), Janet Donhardt (Ronald) and Trish Wakely. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
