She was predeceased by: her parents, James H. Hand and Lillian L. Hand (Funk). She is survived by: her husband James D. Smith; and her children, Allyn Smith (Pamela) and Amy Papageorges (Pete). She is also survived by six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
