He was predeceased by: his parents, Ora Bell and Roy Staggs; his brother Glen Staggs; and his grandson Chris Dreier. He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Staggs (Carlene) of St. Joseph, James Staggs (Donna) of Agency, Debbie Kleppe of Agency and Donna Staggs (Neil Reynolds) of Smithville, MO; his sister Karen Schlup (Larry) of Agency; his sister-in-law Ellen Rumpf of Faucett, MO; and his extended family, Julie, Maurice and Jeff. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (6054 Pryor Ave, St Joseph, MO 64504). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
