She was predeceased by: her parents, Geneva Rawlings and E. L. Rawlings; her brother Bob Rawlings; and her daughter Tammy Vastine-Bell. She is survived by: her husband William Gates; her children, Leslie Gomes, Jessica Pickeral-Schmoll (David) and Jason Weiler (Dawna); and her grandchildren, Victoria, Eddie, John, Evan, Lana and Mark.
