He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law James Weldon; and his parents, George T. Carmody and Mary E. Carmody. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Carmody of Atlanta; his sons, G. Gregory Carmody, Stephen J. Carmody (Maria) and Jonathan D. Carmody (Cheri); his grandsons, Justin, Mason and Carson; his siblings, John P. Carmody, William J. Carmody (Ellen), Mary Hodapp (Edward) of Georgia, Gerard T. Carmody (Suzanne) and James P. Carmody (Nannette); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Weldon and John Weldon. He is also survived by 12 nephews and nieces.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Carmelite Monastery, 9150 Clayton Rd., Saint Louis, MO 63124 or to the charity of one's choice.
