He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Wiethop; and his sister Jean Heitz. He is survived by: his father Vernon Wiethop; his wife Rose Wiethop; his brother Michael Wiethop; his nephew Brian Wiethop Jr. (Malinda); his nieces, Stephanie Deery (Conlan) and Erica Wiethop; and his grandchildren, Brian G. Wiethop, Matthew Wiethop, Michelle Deery and Calleigh Deery.
