He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Russell and Eva Parker Cumpton; his brother Leroy Cumpton; his brothers-in-law, Larry Erickson and Richard Halliburton; his nephew Robbie Cumpton of Gene Cumpton; his sister-in-law Carolyn Cumpton; and his niece Jessica Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Reda Cumpton of Adrian, Missouri; his children, Carl Cumpton (Susan Ann) of Adrian, Justin Cumpton (Brandy Rene) of Archie, Missouri and Cindy Mackey (Daniel) of Adrian, Missouri; and his siblings, Larry Cumpton (Bonnie) of Adrian, Missouri, Joy Craft (Ray) of Amoret, Sharon Halliburton of Butler and Iva Erickson of Amsterdam, Missouri. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and nephews, nieces and cousins.
