He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Oldfield and Etta Charlotte 'Lottie Wilkerson; his son Stephen 'Steve Oldfield; and his wife Marilyn Louise Shughart. He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Linda Oldfield; his granddaughters, Chara Jensen (Derek) of Marshfield, MO and Jill Jacobs (Brad) of Drexel, MO; his great grandchildren, Joey Jacobs, Bryson Jacobs, Braden Jensen, Jaclyn Jacobs, Brock Jensen and Parker Jensen; and his sister Laura Louise. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
