He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Milo Uptegrove and Rose Laverne Uptegrove (Fletcher); his brother Harold Lee Uptegrove; his grandson Brandon Peel; and his niece Rhonda DeLong.
He is survived by: his wife LaDonna Carolyn Uptegrove (Garrett); his son Shawn Uptegrove; his stepdaughters, Laura Uptegrove and Renee Peel; his grandchildren, Brenna, Brice and Brooke; and his siblings, Kent Uptegrove and Frona Bruce. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
