He is survived by: his wife Eva May Schallert of Adrian, Missouri; his children, John Schallert (Gloria) of Lee's Summit, Missouri, Ann Fly (Bud) of Adrian, Missouri and Carolyn N. Sorrell of Adrian, Missouri; his grandchildren, Craig Schallert, Todd Schallert, Kalee Stone, Tim Schallert (Jerrilee), Christa Stokes (Jason) and Jeremy Fly (Jennifer); and his great grandchildren, Nathan, Ty, Jozie, Jorja and Gabriel.
