She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew W. Gillispie and Elsie Mae Gillispie-Hartsell (Jackson); her husband Jimmy Garrett (Jimmy); her siblings, Lois Stewart, Lucille Bruner and Andrew Gillispie; her stepsisters, Edna Mae Shaw and Dorthea Ford; her daughter Lavona Rutherford; and her granddaughter Jenet Lynn Garrett.
She is survived by: her children, Lois Conyers (Johnny) of Walnut Ridge, AR, Cheryl Garrett of Adrian, MO and Dale Garrett (Kay) of Mountain View, AR; her grandchildren, Roy Miller (Cheryl) of Prescott, AR, Ryan Miller of Hope, AR, Jamie Wreyford of Hobbs, NM, Kristi Wreyford of Hope, AR and Timothy Wreyford (Lili) of El Dorado, AR; and her great grandchildren, Jimmy and Gracie Wreyford of Hobbs, NM. She is also survived by four nephews and a niece.
