He was predeceased by: his parents, Marjorie Fern Hurt (Silver) and Willard Hurt; his former wife Laura; his wife Karen; and his siblings, Marcia Bishop, Steve, Danny and Stan.

He is survived by: his aunt Elveta Osborn. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; and cousins.
