She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph A. Kovarik and Elizabeth Kovarik (Shirek); and her siblings, Mildred Kratochvil (Ernest), Jerry Kovarik (Ella), Marcella Sticha (Dennis), Joe Kovarik, Henrietta Karas (Eddie) and John Kovarik (Irene).
She is survived by: her siblings, Irene Hodek and Roland Kovarik; her sons, Alan (Ellen) of Bismarck and Frank (LauraJean) of Rochester; her grandchildren, Susan Marie Wendland (Joshua) of Milbank, SD and Charles Alan Lukes (Katie) of Cape Coral; her nieces and nephews, Merle Kratochvil of Lankin and Carolyn Hodny of Fargo; her sister-in-law Florence Hodny Flanigan; and her great grandchildren, Payton, Olivia, Stella, Rylan, Harper Wendland, Quentin, Carlisle and Nova Lukes. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
