He was predeceased by: his father Rolland Quimby; his father-in-law Robert Swalla; his sister-in-law Ann Bradford; and his nephews, Jacob Quimby, Ronald Schwenke and Gavin Quimby.
He is survived by: his friend Peggy Swalla; his wife Peggy of Zumbrota; his children, Steven Quimby (Lisa) of Faribault, Benjamin Quimby (Jessica) of Dodge Center and Shelby Quimby (Paul Wilkus) of Wanamingo; his mother Maxine Quimby of Kenyon; his brothers, Roger Quimby (Judy) of West Concord and Dennis Quimby (Joyce) of Owatonna; and his mother-in-law Jean Swalla of Kasson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions are preferred to charity of donor's choice.
