He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Vangsness and Myrtle Vangsness (Pearson); his sisters, Arlene Struck, Clarice Cardinal and Doris Kyllo; and his brothers-in-law, Norm Struck, Eli Cardinal and Maurice Kyllo.
He is survived by: his sibling Kim; his niece Karen; his wife Janice; his daughters, Kelly Wallaker (Kyle), Kim Thompson (Ronny) and Karen Allen (Mike); his grandchildren, Luke, Ava Wallaker, Ivan Thompson, Easton and Hailey Blissenbach; and his brothers, Arvid Vangsness (Barb) and Vernon Vangsness (Linda).
