She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Gilbertson and Lauretta Gilbertson; her daughter Kris Maxwell; her former husband Roy Maxwell; her brothers, Gale Gilbertson and Lyle Gilbertson; her nephew Jake Gilbertson; and her brother-in-law Vance Stroad.

She is survived by: her daughter Amy Manthei (Paul); her grandchildren, Katelynn Nielsen and Hunter Manthei; her great grandchild Easton Nielsen; and her sisters, Judy Stroad and Lora Epps (Mike). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and many great friends.
