We are sad to announce that on May 15, 2020, at the age of 67, Joan M. Akers (Zimmerman, Minnesota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore, Sr. Biniek and Theresa Biniek (Gappa); her husband Gary Lawrence Akers; and her siblings, Monica Stodolka, Theodore Biniek, Jr. and Theresa Gaub (Lee).
She is survived by: her stepson Erik Akers (Rebecca); her stepgrandson Matthew Akers; her siblings, Richard Biniek (Carol), Margaret Tomczik and Walter Biniek (Julie); her siblings-in-law, Ken Stodolka, Sr. and Bernadette Biniek; and her close friend Jim Watts. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Heart Association or your local humane society.
