He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Westberg and Gladys Westberg. He is survived by: his brothers, Daniel (Wanda) and Dennis (Nancy); his wife Irene; and his daughters, Carolyn Alexander, Verlene Niewohner (Dave), Sandra Kalpin (Scott) and Leslie McAmis (Steve). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.
