With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Douglas Sanford of Zimmerman, Minnesota, born in Princeton, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 6, 2024 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Clayton Sanford and Ruth Evelyn Sanford (George); and his sister Caroline Sproessig (Sanford). He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Michelle Donner, Jennifer Bartlett (Rob) and Michael Sanford (Jackie); his stepdaughters, Heather Sjoblom (John) and Meghan Berglove (Vince Swenson); his siblings, Carl Sanford (Kathy) and Pam Frauendienst (Rick); and his brother-in-law Dick Sproessig. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
