He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Olson and Bernice Olson (Jordahl); his brothers, Arlin and LeRoy Olson; and his brother-in-law John Bosquez.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Lewandowski; his children, Heidi Arndt (Scott) of St. Michael and Scott Olson (Denise) of Zimmerman; his grandchildren, Lucy Kalupa (AJ), Colton Olson (Tristina), Chase Olson (Alyssa), Marah Cotter (David), Dawson Olson (Madison) and Graham Olson; his great grandchildren, Addison, Waylon, Caleb, Noah, Hadley and Evelyn; his sisters, Velores Bosquez, Sandy Oberts (Steve) and Tammy; his sister-in-law Janice Olson; and also, Heather Sroka (Doug), Tyler, Chelsea and Cullen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
