Marlys Anne Walker Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlys Anne Walker of Wyoming, Minnesota, who passed away on January 9, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Patet and Anna Patet; and her brothers, Richard Patet and George Walker (Cheryl Gackstetter). She is survived by: her children, Julie Lucking (Dave Douglas), Wayne Rhoades Jr., Deanna Schnedecker and Jeff Walker (Cathy); her grandchildren, Amy Koska (Nathan), Shawn Lindl, Steve Lucking (Stephanie), Geoffrey Douglas, Wayne Rhoades III (Christy), Jonathan Rhoades (Annie), Amy Kennedy (Josh), Adam Feit, Heidi Feit, Ian Walker and Colby Walker (Annika); her sister-in-law Shirley Patet; her niece Kim Anderson (Don); her nephew Scott Patet (Aimee); and her pet Bella Blu. She is also survived by numerous other family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mattson Funeral Home & Cremation Service (343 N Shore Dr, Forest Lake, MN 55025). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM at the Union Cemetery (2505 Minnehaha Ave E, St Paul, MN 55119).
Memorials may be made in her honor to Northwoods Humane Society in Forest Lake, a cause close to her heart due to her deep love for animals.
