He was predeceased by: his parents, Tony Dolphy and Dora Dolphy (Faymoville); his siblings, Howard, Paul C. Dolphy and Margaret Benson (Dolphy); his grandson Tony Dolphy; and his son-in-law Dave Lathrop.
He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Bucher; his sister Valeria Thoeny; his children, Angie Gordon, Sandy Lathrop, Joe Jr. (Janet), Paul (Valerie), Brian (Susan) and Pam Olson (Mike); and his grandchildren, Doug Reitmeier (Mandy), Diane Cuabo (Tex), Jeff Lathrop (Amy), Mark Lathrop, Bill Lathrop, Ron Lathrop, Andy Lathrop (Jessica), Jed Dolphy (Vicki), Jill Kouba (Joseph), Jim Dolphy (Leia), Tara Bauer, McLean Dolphy, Chris Dolphy, Megan Terrell (Jamon), Bob Olson (Kim), Sheri Howell (Zach), Rick Olson (Heidi) and Tom Olson (Jackie). He is also survived by 35 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren, many honorary children and grandchildren, Kathy's children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
COVID reduced the attendees, but Joe was determined to help "at least peel the potatoes" one last time in preparation for the Booya in 2021.
