She was predeceased by: her grandson Jeremiah Tate; her parents, Theodore Hays and Elinor Hays; and her siblings, Chuck Hays, Shirley Barth, Betty Clayton, Ted Hays, Jack Hays and Gene Hays.
She is survived by: her husband Larry; and her children, Candace Tate (Mike), Larry Jr. (Becky), Carrie Sanders (Jason), Cellie Rhodes (Brad) and Tim. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
