Virgil D. Eickhoff Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgil D. Eickhoff of Wykoff, Minnesota, born in Fountain, Minnesota, who passed away on September 21, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Eickhoff and Irene Eickhoff (Biel); his son Stuart "Scott" Eickhoff; his brother Donald; his sister-in-law Lila Eickhoff; his sister Myrna Lewis Butler; and his siblings-in-law, Dr. Robert Butler, Rev. Del Nack, Quent Gauerke and Angela Gebhardt (Vogel).
He is survived by: his wife Marva Eickhoff; his children, Tim Eickhoff (Deb) of Spring Valley, Lori Payne (Dale) of Preston, MN and Dan Eickhoff (Tammy) of Wykoff; his grandchildren, Jessy Kotz (Aaron), Sarah Ferden (Adam), Becky Schraeder (Adam McKane), Laura Dohlman (Brandon), Dagan Payne (Alisa), Colter Payne (Alissa), Reece, Raegan, Riley and Ryan Eickhoff; his sister Diane Barnhardt (Aaron); and his siblings-in-law, Carol Gauerke, Judy Nack, Rev. Len Gebhardt and Chaplain Leroy Vogel. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Johns Lutheran Church (241 S Line St, Wykoff, MN 55990). A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are encouraged to be left to St. Johns Lutheran Church and School.
