He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Schultz and Pauline Schultz (Bender); his siblings, Florence Odden (Ralph), Walter Schultz (Gena), Julises Ruben Schultz, Paul Schultz (Dorothy), Art Schultz (Muriel), Ann Bush (Orson), Otto Schultz (Leone) and Carl; and his great grandchild Brooke Linderbaum.
He is survived by: his wife Mercedes Bicknese; his children, Julene Stortz (Craig) of Canton, MN, David Schultz (Doreen) of Wykoff, MN and Kevin Schultz (Kim) of Fountain, MN; his grandchildren, Angela Linderbaum (Grant) of Ossian, IA, Nick Stortz of Canton, MN, Tina Swenson (Matt) of Mabel, MN, Amanda Schulte (Jake) of Houston, MN, Tyler Stortz (Aryn) of Mabel, MN, Christopher Schultz (Lydia) of Wykoff, MN, Tiffany Hanson (John) of Lanesboro, MN, Danielle Schultz of Northfield, MN, Megan Schultz of Omaha, NE, Nicole Schultz of Fountain, MN and Dylan Schultz of Fountain, MN; his sister-in-law Virginia Schultz of Remer, MN; and his grandchildren, Pauline Hanson (Clarence), Clarence Schultz, Leona Grisham (Robert), Richard Schultz (Maxine), Bernice Halverson (Sid), Philip Schultz and Margaret Hemker (Walter). He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
