He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Burton Jacobson and Irene Jacobson (Zech); his wife Lois Finckh; his grandson Eagle Scouts; his sisters, Linda of Wykoff, Barbara of Elkader, Iowa, Kathleen Ruhser (Curtis) of Elkader Iowa and Charlene Czapiewski of Spring Valley; his grandsons, Aaron Schnabl of Merrill and Jacob Schnabl of LaCrosse, Wisconsin.; and his nieces, Jennifer Lange (Troy) of Spring Valley, Nicole Meyerhofer (Andy) of Grand Meadow, Alison Sylvester (Ryan) of Galesburg and Emily Ruhser of Dubuque. He was also cherished by 3 great nieces and 6 great nephews.
