He is survived by: his significant other Spud; his children, Amanda Miner (Brian) and Jaimie McCain (Bethany) of Rochester; his mother LaVonne Benike (Bonnie) of Chatfield; his siblings, Terry Benike (Jeanne) of Minnieska, Connie Sherman (Rick) of Rochester, Linda Owen (Jim) of Rochester, Tim Benike (Kari Apenhorst) of Fillmore, Tom Benike (Mary) of Rochester, Jerry Benike (Sharon) of Chatfield and Shelley Johnson (Scott) of Forest Lake; his grandchildren, Jenifer Lichty, Stephanie, Caitlin, Emily, Cameron Miner, Carter McCain and Aubrey McCain; and also, Dale and Spring Valley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
