With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roland Clifford Olson of Wright, Minnesota, born in Duluth, Minnesota, who passed away on January 4, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Olson and Esther Olson; his wife Joan Dorman; his siblings, Elaine Anstett and William "Bill"; and his grandson Brian Holte.
He is survived by: his sister Margaret Webster; his children, Janet Hubred (Jim) of Sturgeon Lake, Jeanine Dallin (Jim) of Maple Grove, Jeff Olson (Lee Ellen) of Sturgeon Lake, Judy Olson of Anoka, Jay Olson (Penny) of Monticello and Jenny Olson-Noren (Kathy) of Crystal; his grandchildren, Erik, Bradley Hubred, Ted, Nathan, Matthew, Darin Dallin, Eric "Chico" Hattenberger, Jodi Nummela, Will, Travis Holte, Autumn Olson, Danny, Clyde, Lincoln Hubred, Alan, Alex, Chase, Jade, Ethan, Josh, Finley, Josiah Dallin, Stephanie Valero Bautista, Hazel, Ava Hattenberger, Lauren Pederson, Austin and Walker Nummela; and also Alex Johnson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A private family funeral service will follow at 1:00 p. m. Masks and social distancing are required.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church in Cromwell or the Wright Senior Center.
