He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Minsker; his children, Suzanne Taplin (David), Mike Tippett (Karen) and Sara Tippett; his siblings, Mary Deane Linnemeyer (Bruce) of Camp Point, IL, John Tippett of Kirksville, MO and Nancy Hyde (Denny) of Pleasant Hill, IA; his grandchildren, Greg Tippett, Philip Tippett, Rachel Tippett, Zach Tippett, Hannah Johnson (Nathan), Joshua Taplin (Whitney), Elizabeth Taplin and Katelyn Taplin; and his great grandchildren, Eden, Oliver Johnson and Sawyer Taplin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
